As part of the End-of-Year (EOY) activities planned by the Bank and Department of Posts (DoP), certain critical systems will be temporarily unavailable to ensure smooth financial closing for FY 2024-25. Please find below the detailed schedule and alternative arrangements:
1. System Downtime Schedule
A. Core Banking System (CBS) & Micro ATM (MATM) Unavailability
Period: 10:00 PM, 31st March 2025 – 10:00 AM, 2nd April 2025
Impact: Access Points/IPPB officials will not be able to use CBS or MATM services during this period.
IPPB CBS will remain inaccessible to CPC/Departments on 1st April 2025 (post Beginning of Day (BoD) until End-of-Day (EoD) processes are completed.
B. Mobile Banking App (Self-Service Channel)
- Availability: Operational except for the following services:
- DoP Product Payments (PPF/SSA/RD/LARD)
- Sweep In/Out transactions
- All other services (fund transfers, balance checks, etc.) will remain accessible.
C. Normal Operations Resume
- Full services (CBS, MATM, Mobile Banking) will be restored by 10:00 AM, 2nd April 2025.
2. Delay in SAS Availability
Due to the expected delay in CBS EoD processing, the SAS (Statement of Account System) will experience delays on:
1st April 2025
2nd April 2025
Users are advised to plan critical reporting tasks accordingly.
3. Advisory for End Users
- Access Points/IPPB Officials: Complete pending transactions before 10:00 PM on 31st March 2025.
- Customers: Use the Mobile Banking App for non-DoP transactions during the downtime.
- CPC/Departments: Avoid scheduling bulk transactions on 1st April 2025 until systems stabilize.
