Procedure to create new despatch schedule/modify or alter existing Schedules in SAP
Follow the following three simple step to create or modify schedules in SAP Modules
1. Login as PTM User for create new or modify or extending the existing schedules using Create /Modify Schedule Options under Menu
2.Login into ECP User those who have access Tcode ZMOSCHDWNLD to download the schedule from PTM to ECP
3. Enter TCODE ZMOIPVS in ECP Module to Maintain Despatch Bag.
All the three steps are mandatory to enable the despatch schedule in the back office
Incase existing schedule is being used, refer Schedule maintenance.
- Schedule Creation:
- Log into PTM.
- Select Schedule Type; Provide Schedule Name, Description, Valid from and Valid to Information.
- Add standard stop Sequences for Schedule as per requirement.
- Generate Departures for Specific Period or Up to Validity Period and Click on save.
- New Schedule is created.
Schedule Maintenance:
- Log into ECP.
- Use T-Code ZMOSCHDWNLD to download the schedule from PTM to ECP. Navigate to IPVS main screen. Tcode: ZMOIPVS
- Click Dispatch Schedule option under Due Mail Sort List.
- Enter the Facility ID of Bag closing/Dispatching Office; Select the schedule which is required to be maintained. Maintain the schedule with Bag Type, Closed to Office ID. Click on Save.
- After Completing Maintenance of Schedule, Select Sort List Option under Due Mail Sort List. Enter the Facility ID of Bag closing/Dispatching Office Facility ID detail in Office ID option and press Enter.
- Click on Create Option, select the Bag type, Delivery Type, Closed to Office ID, Pin Range details (From Pin code - To Pin code). (For TD bags, same Pincode may be entered in From & To)
- Click on save after updating the information to create new Sort List..
- Share the Schedule name thus edited to ipvs.cept@indiapost.gov.in & tcsdop.sapipvs@tcs.com to push the data from ECP to POS.
- After confirmation from IPVS team, Bags should be available for closing upon next Daily synch at Post Offices.
