Subject: Withdrawal / deletion of Rule-38 transfer requests in the case of promotion, retirement, resignation and death of officials.

Madam/Sir.

I am directed to refer to Directorate's letter of even no. dated 04.12.2024 on the subject mentioned above vide which all Circles were requested to ensure timely withdrawn/deletion of obsolete Rule-38 transfer requests due to promotion. retirement, resignation and death of officials.

2. In this regard, Circles are once again requested to take necessary action for deletion of obsolete / outdated transfer requests within 7 days, as it is seen from time to time that obsolete transfer requests are being approved in the transfer portal and later on requests are received from Circles for cancellation of such transfer requests.
