Booking and Handling of Post Exam materials of CBSE Examination in TN Circle

This is regarding arrangements to be made for booking and transmission of post exam material of CBSE Examinations - 2025 for class X and XII to be conducted from 15.02.2025.

In this regard, Regions/Divisions are requested to issue necessary instructions to the concerned based on the following guidelines.

a) To identify Post Office nearby to the Examination Centre (in consultation with CBSE by the concerned Division) to book the post examination materials on the day of examinations.

b) The examination materials shall be booked as Insured Speed Post Parcels by respective examination centres by paying the booking amount in Cash at Post Office (identified by the Division) counters till extended hours.

c) The Insured Parcels may be kept in safe custody by Post Offices and dispatched through the first available mail schedule.

d) The Insured Parcels booked must be closed and dispatched to the respective mapped PH for further processing of the materials.

e) SSRM, Chennai Sorting Division shall cause suitable instructions to all concerned at PH Chennai to open the exam bags closed by CBSE exam centres whenever the bags are closed directly to CBSE Regional Office, Chennai - 600040, process the articles and arrange for direct delivery from PH Chennai.

f)Preventive steps should be taken to ensure proper safety/security arrangements and necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned to ensure speedy transmission, safe and prompt delivery of these parcels.

Extra Expenditure incurred on account of making special arrangements will be borne by CBSE, New Delhi and the expenditure details may be sent to this office for onward submission to Delhi Circle.
