UIDAI Notification: Verification of genuineness of the documents using QR code

Registrars/EAs/Verifiers/Operators

Documents having QR Code should be accepted by the verifier/operator for scanning/uploading only after verifying the genuineness of the documents from the source database using the QR code available.

If during UIDAI quality check process or audit it is found that a document having QR code is not properly verified before uploading, necessary action shall be taken for suspension of the activities of the operator and imposition of financial disincentive on the Registrar concerned.
