Subject: Review of court cases filed by the Reserve Trained Pool Personnel for service benefits reg

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to say that vide this office letter of even number dated 12.12.2024 and subsequent reminder dated 24.12.2024, all Postal Circles were requested to provide the details and status of court cases filed by RTP personnel along with financial implication (Appox) if their RTP service proposed to be regularized. Circles were also requested to provide the financial implication involved (appox) if RTP service of such RTP personnel who has not filed any cases, is proposed to be regularized.

2. To assess the impact of such cases, a VC is scheduled to be held on 04:00PM of 09.01.2025 under the Chairmanship of DDG(P) with DPS (HQ) of all Postal Circles. Each Circle shall present the following information during the meeting:

(a) Information of Court cases:

i. No. of RTP Cases pending at Hon'ble CAT/High Court/Supreme Court level along with total under of applicants (Approx) and details thereof along with next day of hearing.

ii. If it is proposed to regularise their RTP service from date of their initial appointment as RTP till their regular/absorption, total financial implication involved (approx.)

iii If it is proposed to pay the similar pay which was being drawn by regular employee for the period from date of appointment as RTP till their regular appointment/absorption, total financial implication involved (approx.)

(b) Information of other RTP Personnel who have not filed any cases:

(i) Total number of such officials in Circle.

(i) If it is proposed to regularise their RTP service from date of their initial appointment as RTP till their regular/absorption, total financial implication involved (approx.)

(iii) If it is proposed to pay the similar pay which was being drawn by regular employee for the period from date of appointment as RTP till their regular appointment/absorption, total financial implication involved (approx.)
