I am directed to invite attention to the reference cited and to state that the Election Commission of India has announced the Poll schedule for Bye-election to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 98.Erode East Assembly Constituency which will be held on 05.02.2025 and the Counting of votes will be taken up at 08.00 AM on 08.02.2025.

2. Hence, I am to request you to make special arrangements for receiving the envelopes containing the Postal Ballot Papers from the Service Voters and which will the delivered every day to the Returning Officer's Office or Counting Center in consultation with the Returning Officer for 98.Erode (East) Assembly Constituency & Commissioner, Erode City Municipal Corporation, Erode, to the above mentioned bye-election.
