Subject- Conduction of awareness session regarding new set of Post Office Rules, 2024, Post Office Regulations,2024 and administrative orders/instructions thereof issued by different Directorates & Divisions- regarding

The Post Office Rules, 2024 and Post Office Regulations, 2024 were issued through gazette notification on 16.12.24. The said Rules and regulations came into force w.e.f. dated 16.12.2024. Subsequently, the different Directorates & Divisions, have also issued the administrative orders/ instructions regarding the concerned regulations of the Post Office Regulations, 2024.

2. In this context, this division had also asked Circles to send the queries being faced by the filed units, vide this division email dated 04.01.2025 and letter dated 13.01.2025 but nothing has been received in this respect from the Circles yet.

3. In this regard, the competent authority has directed for conduction of awareness session, about the new set of Post Office Rules, 2024, Post Office Regulations, 2024 and administrative orders/ instructions thereof issued by the Directorate & Divisions, in the field units.

4. The region wise meeting of different Circles, will be for one hours (1500 hrs to 1600 hrs) through video conferencing, as per below detailed schedule:-
