Subject: Access to SPARROW application via WEB VPN - reg.

The undersigned refers to this office OM of even number dated 07.08.2024, wherein it was informed that access to the SPARROW application is restricted to the NIC Network and WEB VPN only.

2. WEB VPN access has been granted to all IPOS Group 'A' officers and STATE Custodians. However, it has been observed that various emails and communications are still being received from Circles, reporting that some officers or STATE Custodians are unable to access the SPARROW portal through VPN.

3. Heads of Circles (HOCs) are requested to instruct the respective STATE Custodian of their Circle to verify and confirm that all Group 'A' officers can access the SPARROW portal via VPN. If any officer or STATE Custodian is unable to access the portal, the STATE Custodian should compile the details of such officers in the prescribed proforma (enclosed). These details should be submitted as a single consolidated communication to dopspg@gmail.com by 07.01.2025 to facilitate VPN access. The STATE Custodian must ensure that all officers in the Circle have uninterrupted access to the portal.
