Subject: Protest from RMS Section and Request for Action

Dear Comrades,

This is to inform you that the RMS section will be protesting from 10th to 13th December 2024. In solidarity, AIGDSU calls upon all Circle and Branch Secretaries to support the protest and ensure active participation.

AIGDSU requests that on 13th December 2024, all Rank and File, as well as Divisional, Branch, and Circle Secretaries, send emails to the Department, highlighting the concern. Attached herewith are the RMS Union's notice and a draft email copy for your reference.

Your cooperation and immediate action are crucial in addressing this matter.

Subject: Request for review of unjust action, we oppose Closure of RMS Offices. Respected Madam,

AIGDSU expresses full solidarity with RMS workers opposing the downsizing and closure of more than 100 RMS offices. Such measures will disrupt postal services and jeopardize employees' livelihoods.

We urge the department to stop closures and engage in meaningful dialogue to safeguard the RMS network and its workforce.

We, therefore, request immediate action to address this issue.
