Procedure to Update POS version 5.1 in Post Offices

Dear Team,

PoS_5.1 Version is scheduled to be rolled out in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Delhi Circle today i.e. 17th December,2024 after 4:30 PM.

Please update the Back office & Counter application after 4:30 PM by today itself to refrain from any kind of issue in early Business hours tomorrow.

Steps to be followed to update the PoS & BO Application
Close POS & BO Application at all the nodes.
Run the Daily sync and wait for successful execution without any error.
Run the High sync and wait for successful execution without any error.
Open the link: http://172.19.64.105:8080/POS/PATCH_UAT/PoS_New/DB_EM_Configuration.zip
A zip file will be downloaded
Extract it and run the “DB_EM_Configuration.bat" file.
On successful execution, you will get a success message “Utility Executed Successfully”
Proceed with any kind of booking.
