Procedure to Update POS version 5.1 in Post Offices

Dear Team,

PoS_5.1 Version is scheduled to be rolled out in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Delhi Circle today i.e. 17th December,2024 after 4:30 PM.

Please update the Back office & Counter application after 4:30 PM by today itself to refrain from any kind of issue in early Business hours tomorrow.

• Steps to be followed to update the PoS & BO Application
• Close POS & BO Application at all the nodes.
• Run the Daily sync and wait for successful execution without any error.
• Run the High sync and wait for successful execution without any error.
• Open the link: http://172.19.64.105:8080/POS/PATCH_UAT/PoS_New/DB_EM_Configuration.zip
• A zip file will be downloaded
• Extract it and run the “DB_EM_Configuration.bat" file.
• On successful execution, you will get a success message “Utility Executed Successfully”
• Proceed with any kind of booking.
