Subject: New Project: Physical verification of Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) units

Reference: BD Directorate letter no. BD-10RP/3/2023-BDMD dated 23.08.2024.

Reference is invited to this office letter cited above, wherein it was communicated that the Department of Posts would receive a remuneration of *2304/- (excluding GST and applicable taxes) per successful verification for verification of Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) units for KVIC.

2. In this regard, the matter was taken up with KVIC for increase in the rate of remuneration to the Department keeping in view the nature of work and effort involved in the task, and I am pleased to inform you that KVIC has agreed to revise the rate of remuneration per verification to Rs.2750/- (excluding GST and applicable taxes) w. e.f. the start of verification work by the Department.

3. Circles are requested to submit bills for the completed verifications to KVIC as per the guidelines outlined in para 8 of the SOP, incorporating the revised rates specified in Para 2 above.

4. This information may kindly be disseminated to all concerned for immediate compliance.
