Subject: Limited Transfer Facility to GDS GDS Online Transfer Cycle, November -2024

Sir/Madam,

In continuation to this office letter no. even dated 22.11.2024, whereby the circles were requested to commence the activity of 'Vacancy Updation' in the portal. The online portal for transfer of GDS under 'Limited Transfer Facility' is being opened for submitting applications by GDSS and processing by the Divisions w.e.f. 5th December, 2024. The Schedule of different activities would be as under:

Relieving of GDS to join the new post

Subsequent to the release of the list of transfers approved, any decision on the issues, other than related to policy, shall be decided at the level of Head of Region/Head of Circle in accordance with the instructions issued in the past. Technical issues may be resolved by Circles in consultation with CEPT.

3. Circles are requested to ensure that Divisions strictly adhered to the aforesaid time schedule and guidelines issued on the transfer of GDS vide OM dated 10.10.2024. CEPT is also requested to ensure that portal is seamlessly available for all concerned as per the schedule.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
