Subject: Grant of Bunching System to All Senior GDS Staff

Respected Sir,

The matter of granting the Bunching system to senior GDS staff remains unresolved despite its significance. It is understood that the department has been collecting information from field offices regarding expenditure and other relevant details. As per the 5th CPC, senior staff are granted one increment for every completed three years of service. This principle should be applied to GDS staff as well.

Currently, a glaring disparity exists wherein senior GDS staff, with 20-30 years of service, receive the same minimum TRCA as junior GDS staff. Senior GDS staff are typically placed in the 10,000-12,000 or 12,000-14,000 TRCA brackets, which fails to recognize their decades of dedicated service.

We request the introduction of a Bunching system for senior GDS staff, along with an increase in TRCA, proportionate to their length of service and contributions to the department.

We, therefore, request your urgent intervention to address this issue and ensure justice for senior GDS staff.
