Sub: For completion of courses available on iGOT Karmayogi Portal in reference to PM GatiShakti NMP.

This is with reference to Department of Posts activities relating to PM GatiShakti NMP.

It is to intimate that the Department of Posts is live on the National Master Plan (NMP) portal, with its own layer on NMP, as well as its own separate portal. Over 1.65 lakh assets of the Department have been mapped on the separate portal of the Department of Posts embedded in the NMP portal. The data is organized in 14 data layers (4 administrative and 10 thematic) with detailed and relevant attributes.

3. Further, PM GatiShakti is an important agenda item under HMOC dashboard and is being monitored by HMOC on a regular basis. HMOC has put great emphasis on capacity building to enhance usage of PM Gatishakti NMP. An online training module is also being developed by PTC Madurai for training of the officers/officials about usage of PM GatiShakti NMP.

4.In this regard, two pertinent online courses relating to to PM GatiShakti NMP are available on iGOT Karmayogi Portal, which are:

a) PM GatiShakti: By Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal trade.

b) Geographical Information System: By Department of Space.

Circles are requested to suitably instruct the nodal officers at the Circle, Region and Division level for PM GatiShakti NMP to complete the aforementioned courses by 31.12.2024
