Casual leave (CL) and Special Casual leave can be combined, but CL cannot be combined with any other type of leave or joining time.
Key Provisions:
- Sundays, public holidays, restricted holidays, and weekly offs can be taken immediately before or after CL.
- CL is not counted on Sundays and holidays.
- CL can be taken while on tour, but no daily allowance will be provided.
- Half-day CL is permitted.
- CL should not normally exceed 5 days at a time.
- Leave Travel Concession (LTC) can be availed during CL.
- Employees are entitled to 8 days of CL per calendar year.
- New joiners may avail CL proportionately or for the full period, subject to the Competent Authority's discretion.
