APPEAL

With reference to notice no. PJCA/2024/Agitation dated 24.12.2024 regarding day long hunger fast dharna on 02.01.2025 in front of Dak Bhawan. You may appreciate that the various demands of the Service Associations and GDS Associations have always been considered and addressed by the Department. positively from time to time. Recently, in the Periodical Meetings under the chairmanship of Secretary (P) with the all Service Associations and GDS Association, the grievances of all sections of postal employees were discussed in details.

2.The Department has been considering all your justified demands in the past and is ready to consider all your legitimate demands in future also. The Department is going through a phase of transformation and welfare of the staff is a major component in this transformation exercise and any kind of agitation / strike at this juncture shall be detrimental for the growth of the Department.

3. Therefore, you are requested to withdraw the proposed day long hunger fast dharna which is scheduled on 02.01.2025 in front of Dak Bhawan in the interest of the Country and the Department,
