Subject: Request for Timely Declaration of GDS to MTS Promotion Exam Results in Multiple Circles

Respected Sir,

This is to bring to your notice that the results of the GDS to MTS promotional examinations have not been declared in several postal circles, including Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Telangana and West Bengal. Despite GDS employees across these circles appearing for the examination, the results remain unpublished, causing widespread concern among the aspirants.

While some postal circles have already declared the results for both GDS to MTS and GDS to Postman promotional exams, the delay in Tamil Nadu and other circles is raising doubts among the candidates regarding their prospects for promotion. Additionally, if the results are not announced by December 31, 2024, the eligible candidates may lose their opportunity for consideration due to service year calculations effective from January 1, 2025.

This delay not only hampers the morale of GDS employees but also creates apprehension about their career advancement opportunities. A prompt action to ensure that the results are declared within the stipulated timeline would bring relief and clarity to all affected candidates.

We, therefore, request your kind intervention to direct the concerned authorities to declare the GDS to MTS results in the pending circles by December 31, 2024, ensuring that promotions and related processes are carried out without delay.
