Sub: Request for clarification regarding admissibility of Vande Bharat Express on availing L.T.C. regarding.

I am directed to refer to your office letter no. A&P/B/Misc/2020/CO dated 05.03.2024 and to convey that in the light of DOP&T OM no. 31011/8/2017-Estt.A- IV dated 19.10.2017 and DOE OM No. 19030/1/2017-E.IV dated 30.08.2023, the Central Government employees are entitled to travel by Vande Bharat Express on LTC and travel entitlement in Vande Bharat Train would be same as that of Shatabdi Trains as mentioned in para 2 A(ii) of the DOE OM of even number dated 13.07.2017.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
