100-Day Intensified Campaign on TB Elimination
The Department of Posts has been requested vide letter No. Z-92011/105/2022-Coord./O&M (e.F.No. 3119850) dated 05/12/2024 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to participate in a 100-day intensified campaign on TB elimination, starting from December 7, 2024. The campaign aims to raise awareness and promote anti-TB activities across the country.
Action Points for the Campaign
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has suggested the following action points for the campaign:
- Anti-TB Messaging: Display anti-TB messages on postal cards and delivery packaging.
- IEC Material: Display IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) material at all post offices.
- Awareness Generation: Generate awareness about TB among all staff members.
- Ni-kshay Shapath: Take the Ni-kshay Shapath (pledge) in all organizations between January 27 and February 2, 2025.
- Social Media: Disseminate awareness messages on social media platforms of the Department and attached offices.
- Ni-kshay Mitra: Register Ni-kshay Mitra from various organizations and staff members of the Department of Posts and attached offices.
Reporting and Deadline
An action taken report on the above parameters, along with high-definition pictures, should be shared at socoord.dte@indiapost.gov.in by March 25, 2025.
