Sub:- Revision of Media Post rates of advertisement under various activities/services under Media Post-reg.
Kind attention is invited to the subject cited above, it is submitted that the Media Policy of the Department was reviewed in the year 2007 and the review of Media Policy was circulated vide this office letter no. 7-4/2002-BD&MD dated 19.06.2007.
2. Rates for advertisements on various postal stationery are very old and are under consideration for revision. The rates for printing multi-colour advertisement on POSB Passbooks, advertisement behind the MPCM receipts issued on the counters, advertisement (Posters, Hordings, Standee, Flex and Banners) inside and outside Postal Buildings, MMS Vans and Digital advertisement through LCD/LED, Facebook page of DOP, X(Twitter) page of the India Post and India Post website, is not available at present. 3. In this regard, to revise these rates as per the market rates and consider the inflation in printing media rates, this Department needs the footfall of various media of advertising methods under all circles and their demands as to how it become productive and revenue raising for the Department. All Circles have various advertisement offers to utilize Media Post to earn revenue for the Department. In this context, we need their suggestions/comments/inputs to leverage Media Post at its utmost.
4. The competent authority has decided to seek valuable suggestions/comments/inputs from all the Circles to enhance the productivity of this product. Therefore, Circles are requested to submit their comments/suggestions on the below noted points: -
i. Required modification/alternation in existing Media Post service as per the market requirement.
ii. Additional activities can be included in existing policy of Media Post.
iii. Revision of rates for existing activities under Media Post as per the present market trends
iv. Rates for additional activities for which the rates have not been fixed so far. v. Engaging of aggregators for Media Post service.
