Subject: Regarding centralization of billing of decentralized network linksRef: This office letter No. even dt. 23.11.2023/19.3.2024 on the above cited subject and this office email dt. 25.12.2023 along with BSNL letter dt. 20.12.2023 regarding change of BCA for 801 links
Sir/Madam,
On the above cited subject, the matter has been taken up with BSNL for the centralized billing of all the NSP1 links under IT 2.0 as per approved rates. Accordingly, BSNL has issued directions to their circles vide letter dt. 18.04.2024 & 19.04.2024, the copy of same are enclosed herewith for your information and necessary coordination with local BSNL authorities to ensure all such BSNL links are under centralized billing w.e.f. 1.4.2024 and to ensure settlement of pending bills at Circle level at the earliest.
The decentralized links at NSP1 TNF locations being maintained by Circles other than BSNL will be continued to be managed by Circles till the feasibility from BSNL /MTNL for providing network connectivity at such locations.
It is also requested to submit the required information (in excel format - attached) to this office to avoid any duplicate billing/payment during the period w.e.f. 1.4.2023 to 31.3.2024.
