• The GDS Compassionate Engagement Portal now has a dedicated email address for technical issues: crc-gds.cept@indiapost.gov.in.
• The GDS Online Transfer Cycle for November 2024 will open for vacancy updation by Divisions/Units from 25.11.2024 to 30.11.2024.
• The transfer portal will be made available for registration and submission of online applications by the GDS in the first week of December 2024.

Subject: Limited Transfer Facility to GDS GDS Online Transfer Cycle, November -2024
Sir(s)/Madam(s).
It is requested to refer to this directorate OM No. 17-31/2016-GDS (PLI) dated 10.10.2024 whereby revised guidelines on Transfer of GDS under Limited Transfer Facility were issued.
2. It is informed that before start the next Transfer Cycle, CEPT is required to carry out testing of the changes/development made in the portal before going live for all the circles. Therefore, it has been decided that pending the testing of of the Portal by CEPT, the Transfer portal will be made available for vacancy updation by Divisions/Units from 25.11.2024 to 30.11.2024. The schedule of other activities would be informed separately.
3.Therefore, I am directed to request CEPT to open the portal for the field units for vacancy updation from 25.11.2024. Vacancies arising upto 30.11.2024 due to discharge/voluntary discharge, resignation, absorption on departmental posts, deputation to IPPB/APS etc., except which are already notified in the GDS Online Engagement Schedules or not otherwise available due to court cases etc., will be taken into consideration for transfer. The vacancies arising due to death of GDS will also be available for transfer if the same has not been filled up by engagement of next kin of the deceased GDS within six months from the date of his/her death.
4. CEPT in the meanwhile may get the testing done in consultation with Karnataka Circle, so that the Portal may be made available for registration and submission of online applications by the GDS, preferably in the first week of December, 2024.
