Letter to CPMG by Circle Secretary, FNPO-NAPE Gr-C regarding internet connectivity issue

 • Due to unreliable or completely unavailable internet connectivity in numerous post offices across Tamilnadu Circle, S. Sudeesh Kumar, the Chief Postmaster of the region, has written a letter to the Chief Postmaster General requesting urgent attention and resolution.

• This lack of network severely impacts employees' efficiency and the quality of services provided to customers, especially in rural and remote areas who rely on post offices for essential financial transactions, pensions, and government schemes.

• Despite the efforts of BSNL authorities to rectify the issues, the situation persists, leading to delays, frustrations among customers, and additional pressure on the staff.

• The absence of network connectivity in major head offices and approximately 50% of sub-offices further exacerbates the problem, while the review of PMA applications, opening of new accounts, Jeevan Pramman, and Aadhaar services remain unaffected.

• This disruption also affects cheque realization and cash and stamp conveyance to offices, resulting in inconveniences for pensioners and disrupting day-to-day operations.

• S. Sudeesh Kumar emphasizes the urgency of the matter and requests a prompt response and action to enhance the quality and reliability of postal services in the circle.
