Subject: Aadhaar Training Module Aadhaar (Prarambh) and Aadhaar (Dakshta) on the Dak Karmayogi & IGOT e-learning portal - reg.

This is regarding implementation of eKYC for Post Office Savings Bank operations. Currently, customers are required to submit KYC documents in physical form when opening an account at the Post Office. To streamline this process, the Department has decided to introduce an eKYC module that will facilitate account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and account closures, among other transactions. The implementation of this module is nearing completion, with the Financial Services Division working in collaboration with the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to secure UIDAI certification.

2. For the same, UIDAI has instructed that Department must provide training to its employees on the handling of Aadhar Data and the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and security of such data.

3.In this context, two courses viz. Aadhaar (Prarambh) and Aadhaar (Dakshta), are already available on the Dak Karmayogi & IGOT e-learning portal. These courses are aimed to address knowledge gaps, enhance efficience and reduce errors.

4. It is, therefore, requested that concerned officials may be provided on Aadhar and physical/offline training in WCTCs on said courses compliance may be sent to this Division by 25.11.2024.
