Sub- Provision of QR code-based payment for collection of COD amount-reg.

This is regarding the functionality of COD payment collection through QR code, which has been enabled by CEPT in Postman Mobile Application (PMA).

2. It may be noted that this functionality on the PMA application is compatible only with DoP owned devices (without MDM control) and devices enrolled under Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) scheme for delivery of parcels.

3. Pilot of the functionality has been done at selected NDCs w.e.f. 08.07.2024. Based on the learnings from the pilot, it has now been decided to roll out the functionality pan. India in all the Nodal Delivery Centres (NDCs) located in the Circles w.e.f. 21.10.2024.

5. A SOP is annexed to make QR based payment for COD through PMA and its settlement in the existing CSI system. A Google drive link for downloading the updated PMA application is as follows:

6. In order to ensure smooth implementation of the functionality and offer support to the field teams a WhatsApp group has been created by CEPT. Circles are requested to provide details of Circle SPOC (Name, Designation, Email, and Mobile number) for adding them to the aforesaid WhatsApp group by 1600 hrs. on 18.10.2024. Further,
