Subject: Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0
Madam/ Sir,
I am directed to state that Department of Pensions and Pensioner's Welfare (DoPPW) is launching Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 3.0 in 800 cities and town, covering all district HQs from 1st to 30th November 2024.
2. In this regard, DoP&PW has requested for active participation of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) & Department of Posts. IPPB is now participating in fulfilling the major initiative of DoPPW, through DLC generation from Home, Camps and extensive network of post offices. The campaign construct along with reward structure for the top performers of DLC Campaign launched by IPPB during 1-30 November 2024 and targets for the Circles are at Annexure-I and Annexure-II respectively.
3. Therefore, to make this campaign successful, all Circles are requested to support IPPB with following activities: -
(i) All circles shall execute Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate campaign 3.0 in the month of November 2024 through IPPB.
(ii) IPPB has shared list of locations enclosed as Annexure-III where in camps will be set-up in coordination with the post offices and will be uploaded in the DoPPW webpage. Special camps are planned on 4th, 8th, 16th and 25th November along with the month-long campaign.
(iii) All circles to provide their fullest cooperation to extend the DLC services to the citizens of the country. The respective Head Post Masters, Sub Post Masters and Branch Post Masters may put up banners (Annexure-IV) outside and inside the Post Office as well as posters, bunting etc. inside the post offices. (to be provided by IPPB)
(iv) Wherever possible the CPMGS/PMGs and Divisional Heads may help to get a press release done, the draft of which shall be provided by the IPPB.
(v) The lobby area of the HO/SO may be provided with help desk for the senior citizen who may be served while being seated.
(vi) IPPB will coordinate with Local radio or TV channels in consultation with DoP&PW.
(vii) All Circles to ensure availability of trained Postman/GDS for the generation of DLCs.
(viii) A monitoring mechanism may be implemented to track the service requests received through Post Info Application.
(ix) Circles will depute/assign a SPOC specifically for Post Info Portal for timely data sharing and fulfillment of DLC requests. IPPB will also identify a Circle SPOC for coordinating this activity.
(x) Photographs of the camps and testimonial of satisfied customers may be shared for uploading on both DOPPW and IPPB as well as DOP social Media.
