Subject: Celebration of World Post Day & National Postal Week 2024 -reg.
It is in reference DG Posts DO no. 5-1/2024-MD dated 26-09-2024 regarding the subject mentioned above.
2.In respect of Mails and Parcels Day scheduled on 7th October, 2024, following activities and programs in respect of Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra (DNK) are suggested to be organized by Circles at Circle, Regional and Divisional level on this occasion.
(a) Circles to organize workshops for exporters at circle and divisional level with the focus on benefits and facilities of DNK.
(b) Circles to conduct an enrollment program for a minimum of 5 exporters at the DNK Portal at the district level.
(c) Circles may utilize marketing materials like brochure, leaflets & posters for publicity and create awareness among the general population and other stakeholders like export promotion council, FIEO, regarding DNKs.
(d) Circles may also leverage electronic and digital media like Radio, email campaign, online marketplaces and social media platforms to maximize the outreach and enhance the promotion of exports through DNKs.
(e) Meetings may be organized with export councils at circle, regional and divisional level.
3. In view of the above, the circles are requested to share the report on activities and programme along with good quality photographs pertaining to DNK and international mails conducted during national postal week by 16th October, 2024.
