Sub:- Refusal of LSG declinations - c/o Gujarat Circle-regd.
The CPMG Gujarat circle issued LSG promotion memo on 9.8.24 and a corrigendum issued on 17.9.24 and mentioned that no declination to LSG promotion should not be accepted and even after that also any official declines disciplinary action will be initiated.
In this connection my Federation submits that officials are refusing their LSG promotion with the cost of MACP financial up-gradation also keeping in view of their personal problems. Promotion can be declined by any official in any cadre in any Department and we can't force them to accept their given promotion which is against to the Law in the Land. Across the country wherever declination not accepted all such issues are settled with the intervention of Directorate and some instances with Court cases.
If the reason for refusal is to fill all LSG/HSG posts then the circle can go for the supplementary DPC by maintaining wait list to fill all vacant posts up to maximum extent.
Hence my Federation requests Hon'ble Secretary Post, kindly intervene in this issue and instruct the competent authority for accepting the declination requests submitted by the officials for their LSG/HSG promotions under Gujart circle immediately keeping in view of their personal difficulties and natural justice.
An early action will be highly appreciated.
