Postal Directorate Guidelines for issue payment to the outsiders working in the place of GDS

India Post has issued guidelines vide Directorate letter no.No.17-09/2018-GDS (Pt-I) dated 27.09.2024 for issue payment to GDS substitute in the HoA 320102101100107 and the GL Code is 3026250700.

Subject: Non-payment of wages to GDS substitutes working against regular GDS-reg.

Sir/Madam,

It has been brought to the notice of this directorate regular payment of wages to GDS substitutes working against regular GDS is not being made in some of the Circles. On examining the issue with Budget Division of the Directorate, it is emerged that the problem was being faced due to non availability of sufficient funds in the relevant head of account and GL Code. Therefore, vide their email dated 11.09.2024 (copy enclosed), Budget Division has conveyed following HOA/GL Code for Booking of payment of wages of GDS substitutes:

HoA : 320102101100107

GL Code: 3026250700

Therefore, I am directed to request all the circles to take necessary action for clearing the pending payment on the above account.
