Subject: General Election to Legislative Assembly of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, 2024-Scheme for Kashmiri Migrants to vote in person at transitory camps-reg.

I am directed to forward herewith Secretary, ECI letter No. 3/J&K-LA/2024 dated 22nd August, 2024 on the subject cited above.
2 The content of the aforesaid letter is self-explanatory. Accordingly, it is requested to take necessary action on the same and ensure that the Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballots (ETBPs) should not be refused from voters (including Kashmiri Migrants) for booking by any of the Post Offices concerned under your jurisdiction, in any case. Also ensure that the booked ETBPS must reach the Returning Officer of the concerned Assembly Constituency on or before 0800AM of 08.10.2024 (Tuesday) i.e. day of Counting of Votes.
3. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

The General Manager CEPT, Mysore with a request to make all necessary provisions for booking of ETPBs through Speed Post without pre-payment of charges at the time of booking in non-CSI system including APS.
