NIC eMail ID change format
As you are aware, the India Post email (NIC) has been migrated to a new platform, and the older platform (https://email.gov.in) has been discontinued effective July 25, 2024(w.e.f 25/07/2024). The new platform's URL for India Post email is https://mail.gov.in
When users attempt to log in to the older platform using their email address and password, they will be automatically redirected to the new platform within 30 seconds. Therefore, all users are requested to directly access the new email platform using the URL https://mail.gov.in for post offices.
How to Change a Mobile number in India Post eMail new platform?
At present, mobile number could not be updated in the eMail profile even after logged in due to security reasons.
- Download the attached proforma for change for mobile number
- Fill all required information correctly
- Forward the filled proforma to the below mentioned email address through Divisional Office
- To email ID is emailadmin-dopost-1@nic.in & emailadmin-dopost@nic.in
