Consequent upon declaration of results of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the vacancy years 2022 and 2023 conducted by Department of Posts for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts vide letter no. A-34013/01/2023-DE dated 13.06.2024, approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed for allotment of Postal Circle to the candidate as mentioned below:-
2.General Conditions: -
Penalty of reduction of pay by three stages from Rs. 39200/- (Pay level- 5, Index-11) to Rs. 35900/- (Pay level-5, Index-8) for the period of two years without cumulative effect w.e.f. 01.11.2023 to 31.10.2025
(a) Official shall be eligible for appointment to the post cf Inspector Posts on promotion on or after 01.11.2025 i.e. after the date of expiry of his punishment. He shall be deputed for Induction training as and when slots become available in Training Centers after his appointment.
(b. The promotion will be effective from the date of assumption of charge of the post of Inspector Posts.
(c) Official shall be on probation for a period of two years
(d. Request for re-allotment to any other Circle/Unit shall not be entertained under any circumstances. Therefore, Circle should refrain from making such recommendations.
(e) Official shall be relieved on or after 01.11.2025 i.e. after date of expiry of his punishment subject to condition mentioned in Para 3 below.
(f) In case official is not willing to join promoted post, declination letter shall be obtained by parent Circle and forwarded to Directorate.
3.(g) It is the officer's responsibility to send a copy of charge report on assumption of charge of the post of Inspector Pcsts through eMail adspn.dte@indiapost.gov.in at Circle shall ensure vigilance status of the official in terms of Directorate letter no. X-7/6/2022-SPN-II dated 17.05.2023 as amended from time to time, before relieving him for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts. In case official falls under any of the category which attracts provision of 'deemed sealed cover', he should not be relieved and the matter be immediately reported to Directorate.
4. Before relieving an official on promotion, Circle shall ensure compliance of all instructions contained in Directorate letter no. A-34013/01/2023-DE dated 13.06.2024. Official shall be eligible for fixation of pay on promotion as per prevailing instructions on the subject.
