As per the Department of Posts' OM No.17-01/2017-GDS dated 14.06.2023, legal heir of GDS employee deceased while on duty/service in Post Offices can apply for compassionate employment. To do so, they must submit the GDS compassionate forms through the proper channel (via Sub Division) to the concerned Divisional Head for further processing. All cases will be processed at the Circle Office and must be registered online at
