Subject: Implementation of the order of Hon'ble High Court of Madras dated 27.04.2023 in WP 13611/2013 and batch cases in connection with absorption of GDSS and Casual Labourers as MTS.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to Tamil Nadu Circle's letter No. REP/84-73/SLP/23 dated 01.05.2024 on the above-mentioned subject and to say that the aforesaid case was referred to Central Agency Section to ascertain the feasibility of filing review petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. It has been advised by Addi. Solicitor General of India that "there are no compelling grounds to challenge the order. Hence, it is recommended not to file a review". A copy of legal opinion is attached herewith.
2.The matter has been examined and taking into consideration of dismissal of SLP in the matter and legal opinion of ASG, DOLA, it has been decided by the Competent Authority to implement the orders of Hon'ble High Court of Madras dated 27.04.2023 in WP No. 13611/2013 and batch cases.
3.Implementation of aforementioned order shall be specific to this case and shall not be treated as precedent in any other case.
4. It is requested to take further necessary action including updation on LIMBS portal.
