Instructions on taking postman returns for previous day in DPMS

Procedure to take postman returns in DPMS  for Previous day in case of SAP Down

The following steps may be followed to complete the previous day DPMS i.e yesterday postman returns in DPMS and EOD for the postman beats.

• Open DPMS Module from SAP ECP Application when SAP is UP
• Delayed Confirmation Approval may be given for the previous day (When SAP is down)[Option is available under Supervisor Approval in DPMS Main Screen]
• Enter Reason as SAP is not accessible Since 12PM
• Click on Approve
• Take returns of all the invoiced articles of the previous day
• Then do EOD for the previous day
• Receive Cash from the Postman for the previous day if any

EOD for one beat is enough for previous day. Invoice articles to postman beats as usual for the current date and no need to wait to Give EOD for all beats in the particular office.
