It is observed that the recoveries in fraud and loss cases made by all the units are under different GL codes. Henceforth the payments and recoveries' in fraud and loss cases should be made under GL code 4855300100 and 8855300100. The units under your region may be directed to use the above mentioned GL codes in fraud and loss payment and recovery. The fraud and loss cases in which recoveries are already made in other GL codes, the units concerned may forward a TE proposal for the particular case to the PA section of this office. It is also intimated that Audit Clearance Certificate will be issued only for those cases in which payments and recoveries are made under GL code 485530100 and 8855300100.
