OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Delegation of Financial Powers to the concerned Member (PSB) and Heads of Circles in respect of contracts pertaining to conveyance of mails through road including RTN routes - regarding.
The Secretary (Posts) in consultation with AS&FA is pleased to delegate the financial powers under Rule 12(2) of Delegation of Financial Power Rules, 2024 to the concerned Member (PSB), and Heads of Circles to the extent indicated below:

If a contract extends over a period of time, total value over the entire period of its currency shall be taken as the value for the purpose of applying the limit.
3.These powers will be exercised by the concerned Member (PSB) and the Heads of Circles keeping in view of the conditions contained in DFPRS, GFRS, Guidelines of CVC, instructions issued by MoF from time to time, etc.
4.The above delegated financial powers are to be exercised by the concerned Member (PSB) in consultation with the IFA to the Member (PSB) and the Heads of Circles in consultation with the Circle
