CSI Server Installation | POS and Back Office Module

1. Copy “Rollout 2” Folder and paste into C drive

2. Create the folder “POS_INSTALLER” in C drive

3. Copy the “Rollout” folder from “C:\Roll_out_ 2\POS\Others” and paste into “C:\POS_INSTALLER”

4. Copy “jre7” folder from “C:\Roll_out_ 2\POS\Others” and paste into “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout”

5. In “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout\jre7\bin” folder, right click on the all java files ( java, javacpl, javaw,javaws) and select compatibility tab, check the “Run this program as an Administrator” as shown below

6. In “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout” edit the START.BAT file using notepad, Paste this line “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout\jre7\bin\” as follows and save the start notepad file.

7. Then open the folder “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout\system_configuration” and edit the OfficeDetails.config using notepad and delete all the texts.

8. And execute the Start.bat file from the folder “C:\POS_INSTALLER\Rollout” Now CSI Server application will open

1.Download

1. Give the Facility ID (13 digit as PO29108217000), and click SAVE
2. Click Download >Software >Set Source Directory as: “C:\Roll_out_ 2\POS\Software”

Set Destination Directory as “C:\POS_INSTALLER”

• Put tick mark in SQL Anywhere and 7 zip  Click Download
• After completion of 7zip file transfer  Untick 7zip and tick on SQL Anywhere  Click

Download again

• Application >Set Source Directory as: “C:\Roll_out_ 2\POS\Application”
• Set Destination Directory as “C:\POS_INSTALLER”

For all i.e

• Back Office
• Counter
• Database

Here you select 32 Bit or 64 Bit depending on your PCiv. CASSO  Set Source Directory as: “C:\Roll_out_ 2”

Set Destination Directory as “C:\POS_INSTALLER”

2. Setup

• Configure systems  Enter “Machine IP” and Select “Machine Type” and “OS Type” Do this for all 3 (Datebase, Back office and Counter – One by one)
• Copy Softwares  Select Machine Type  Database (only)  Click on IP  Copy files.
• Copy Application  Select Machine Type  Select All 3(One by one)  Copy files
• Copy CASSO  Select Machine Type  Select only Backoffice  Copy files

3. Install

• Install Software >Machine Type Select Database only  Select IP  Install
• Install Application

a. Machine Type  Database  Select IP Install  (After installation)  Click START

DATABASE

while click on START DATABASE, do single click only. If you click on double time

PC may hangs

b. Machine Type  Back office  Select IP  Install

*If installation failed in this step, unzip BO and COUNTER zipped files from

(C:\POS\Application) and continue the same step b

c. Machine Type  Counter  Select IP  Install

4. License

Generate License  Generate Report  Generate  Generate Report  Upload
