Sub: Request to extent the date as 01.01.2024 vacancies for one time relaxation of LSG to HSG II – Reg.

Ref: NO. X-4/2/2020-SPN-II, Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts,(Personnel Division), DakBhawan, Sansad Marg, dated at New Delhi - 110001 the 09.02.2024.

With due respect this union represents all these facts to the DTE., for consideration and favorable order. DTE., has issued orders for ONE TIME RELAXATION of LSG to HSG II on 09.02.2024. The said order is benefiting the LSG officials of the 2018 which are very meager in numbers (only 10% in SBCO). In the year 2019, the LSG promotions were accepted by many officials. As of now, 90% of the HSG II posts are kept in vacant. Junior officials are manning the HSG II and HSG I posts which are very much responsible posts.

In the HSG I & HSG II Supervisor posts, local arrangements made by senior PA (SBCO) of that HOS is not advisable and also after merger of PA (SBCO) to PA (PO) approximately more than 90% of PAS (SBCO) were merged with General line in all over India. In some offices, there is no PA (SBCO) even to take the Supervisor responsibilities.

In view of the important higher responsibility of these posts and welfare of the SBCO officials, it is kindly requested that the Hon'ble Secretary Post, may please be relax the date to 01.01.2024 vacancies.
