Memo no. ESB/15-IP/ASP/CR/2019 dated at Chennai 600 002 the 03.08.2023

In pursuance of Directorate letter no. 25-36/2017-PE-I(Vol.III) dated 29.03.2023 and 05.07.2023, approval of Chief Postmaster General, Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai is hereby conveyed for the upgradation of following ASP posts (Level-8) to PS Group 'B' cadre (Level-9) with simultaneous reduction in the strength of ASP Posts in the establishment of concerned Divisions.

The new posts of P.S. Group 'B' will deemed to have been created w.e.f. the dates they filled up, i.e. from the date the officials posted against these posts assume the charge. Otherwise, the post will remain in the lower grade i.e. ASPOS.

All concerned are requested to update the establishment register accordingly.
