Sub: - Non availability of adequate PO OE funds - reg.
My Federation wish to bring to the notice of Hon'ble Secretary Posts that almost all circle/divisions are facing shortage of PO OE funds since last year. Especially this financial year from the beginning Circles/Divisions were not getting required allotment of PO OE funds to meet the regular day to day expenditure for smooth functioning of offices.
Federation is very much thankful to both Hon'ble Minister for Communication & IT and Hon'ble Secretary Posts for great initiative steps for filling up of all vacant posts under Mission Recruitment 2023. Since last year appointments letters are issuing to the candidates by holding "Rojgar Mela" in every circle as a prestigious program.
It came to my Federation notice that Department is spending nearly Rs.20 Lakh for holding 'Rojgar Mela' without allotment of any Fund to meet the said expenses and due to this Circle are compelled to utilize PO OE fund for Rojgar Mela purpose resulted adequate shortage in PO OE.
Hence I request the Hon'ble Secretary Posts, kindly intervene in this issue and take up the problem with Hon'ble MOC and Hon'ble Finance Ministries to allot separate fund for holding "Rojgar Melas" and also sufficient PO OE and other important funds like TE, Medical etc as projected by the Circles.
An early action will be highly appreciated.
