Subject: - Discontinuation of Book Adjustment i/r/o PLI premia collected through salary deduction from Other Ministries. -reg.

Kindly refer to this Directorate DO No. 63-01/2022-LI dated 08-06-2022 wherein discontinuation of Book Adjustment i/r/o PLI premia collected through salary deduction from Other Ministries has been conveyed and all Non-Postal PAOS/DDOS were directed to remit the PLI recovery amount through Cheque/ EFT to the mapped CPCs/ nearest HPOs.

The matter was examined at this office and it is to convey that the earlier procedure of Book Adjustment /r/o PLI premia recovered through salary deduction from Other Ministries shall continue.

As such, it is kindly requested to convey the same to all the PAOS /DDOS of Other Ministries / Departments under your jurisdiction and direct them for continuation of Book Adjustment i/r/o PLI premia recovered through salary deduction.

All CPCs/ HPOs may also be kindly instructed for obtaining monthly PLI recovery schedules from the non-postal PAOS /DDOS under them and ensure updation of policies in a timely manner. Procedure of updation of PLI pay policies by CPCS/HPOS will continue as was before discontinuation of Book Adjustment.
