Sub: Allocation of funds for procurement of Computers hardware Yperipherals for the FY 2022- 23 in RE 2021-22 under the Plan Scheme IT Induction & Modernisation.
Kindly refer this office letter of even No. dated 07.06.2022 and 27.06.2022 vide which funds allotted in BE 2022-23 for committed liabilities of FY 2021-22 and BE allotment 2022-23 for procurement of Computer Hardware & peripherals. Vide CP Division letter No. 204/2022-CP dt. 12.1.2023 regarding Revised Estimates 2022-23 (Scheme) allotment of funds has been revised curtailed from Rs.40 Crores to Rs.20 Crore under the Head of Account 5201.00.104.08.99.52 (Scheme), G/L Code 5104089952 for procurement of Computers hardware only for Departmental Postal Offices/Admn Offices/PAOs as under:
2. It is requested to ensure 100% utilization of funds allocated in RE have to be ensured and no surrenders will be entertained at the end of Financial Year 2022-23.
3.No excess expenditure should be made beyond the allotted fund. Circle may ensure to procure the hardware through GeM following all codal formalities. Further allocations to Regions, if any, has to be uploaded on CSI module as per the instructions of CP Division, Postal Directorate. It may also be ensured that the sanctioned amount reflects in concerned DAP Account under correct Head & G/L Code.
4.A monthly progress report on utilization of funds and number of Computers & hardware procured be submitted to this office through email at technologydivision@indipost.gov.in by 15 of every month in respect of Funds allotted by Technology Division.
