Sub: Regarding 'migration of all existing VPNOBB links presently working on copper last mile' and 'the provisioning of TNF links' on FTTH as VPNOFTTH connectivity for Department of Posts (DOP).

Sir/Madam,
Kindly find enclosed herewith BSNL letter No. CNNCO-12/16/3/2021-EB-I-Part (1) dated 5.9.2022 and 20.10.2022 on the subject cited above. BSNL has issued directions to their Telecom Circles for the migration of all the existing VPNOBB links of DoP presently working on copper last mile as well as for all VPNOBB links which have been declared TNF by field units and new VPNOBB / VPNOFTTH request from DoP (or IPPB) under the NI Project.

BSNL and Sify (NI) have informed that there will be no financial implication on the Department for the above migration of existing VPNOBB to VPNOFTTH.

It is therefore, requested to kindly arrange to coordinate with BSNL Telecom Circles teams for the implementation of said migration activity of existing VPNOBB to VPNOFTTH. It is further requested to track the migration activity for implementation and performance to ensure smooth operations at the field locations.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
