Clarification regarding encashment of NSC IX Issue | Dated 30/11/2022

Encashment of discontinued scheme of NSC IX issue should be done at Head Post Offices by the method of  POSB Credit /Cheque payment and no cash payment.

• Already Encashment done at SOs shall be treated as regular.
• Encashment of NSC IX issue done at any Departmental Post Office by following the procedures prescribed in Chapter 13 of POSB CBS Manual Volume (Corrected up to 31.12.202D.
