Kindly find attached this office Memo No. Mails/3-20/2020-21 dated 29.09.2022 on the subject cited above.

In this regard, the Competent Authority has directed that all delivery POs are to be opened on 23.10.2022 (Sunday), 24.10.2022 Diwali (Postal Holiday), 25.12.2022 (Sunday) and 01.01.2023 (Sunday) for delivery of Greeting Mail of Diwali, Christmas and New Year respectively. Further, it is also intimated that Outsourced be directed to come and work. For Govt. officials directive is to work, but if however, they cannot make it, no further action in disciplining is required.

You are therefore, requested to issue necessary instructions/orders accordingly to all Postal Units.
