Emergency leave to GDS - order dt 02.01.2019
- 5 days of emergency leave in a calendar year is permissible to a regular GDS official with a restriction of not more than 2 days at a time.
- For any personal/emergent requirements. Applicable TRCA paid.
- Cannot be carried forward or encashed. Cannot be combined with paid leave.
- Sunday and postal holiday falling during the period of said leave will not be counted as part of leave but they can be prefixed and suffixed.
- No substitute will be engaged other than single handed BOs, rather combination of duties will be ordered.
- Application on a plain paper is sufficient. Staying on emergency leave for more than 2 days will be treated as paid leave , if no paid leave exists it will be treated as unauthorised absence and TRCA will not be drawn.
