Subject: Post Attached Quarters of Postmasters - Clarification

Madam/Sir,

Directorate has received representation for clarification from Union on the above mentioned subject. In this regard it is clarified that the orders contained in letter no. BDG-20/08/2021-Buildings-DOP dated 18/22.07.2022 are applicable to all the buildings of DoP irrespective of departmental/rented/rent free buildings. Further it is also clarified that orders are applicable for Postmaster, means, all categories of Post Masters including sub Postmasters and Sr. Post Masters. Circles are directed to implement the orders w.e.f. 01.08.2022 as already conveyed.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
