POS V4.7 Update Instructions | Do not update POS v4.7 Manually

Sir / Madam,

PoS 4.7 version with below mentioned features is being rolled out to identified pilot locations:

1. Induction of return pick-up / drop articles

2. Revision of NPS commission

3. Increase of expiry time window for digital payment from 120 second to 180 second.

However, during analysis of PoS 4.7 version update status, it is noticed that many non-pilot locations tried manual version updation and updated to PoS 4.7 version. Such offices may experience errors during PoS operations viz., incorrect NPS commission. The list of offices who tried manual version updation and updated to PoS 4.7 version is furnished in the attached file.

It is requested to instruct all PoS booking locations not to resort to manual PoS version updation.
